Description
At the time of the wood and coal firing in the households, the miner was allowed to take a "mother block" home with him. The chopped wood was used to “turn on” the fire in the kitchen stove, the bath oven or the coal stove in the living room. The miner's lamp is typical of the miner in coal mining.
